11.06.2004 [Interview: APOPTYGMA BERZERK (Stephan Groth)] Долгожданное обновление в разделе INTERVIEWS. Некоторое время назад в Москве состоялся музыкальный фестиваль Synth Snow с участием звезд электронной музыки APOPTYGMA BERZERK. Накануне состоялась пресс-конференция, после которой представителю УГП удалось поговорить в спокойной обстановке с лидером APOPTYGMA BERZERK, Штефаном Гротом (Stephan Groth). 28.05.2004 [UGP team on WGT-2004, 28-31 of May, 2004. No updates.] Обновлений ближайшие несколько дней не будет, так как команда Портала уехала на крупнейший мировой готический фестиваль WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN-2004 (Германия, Лейпциг). 02.05.2004 [Event in Kiev: Gothic party "UKRAINIAN GOTHIC" + concerts of KOMU VNYZ & VINKY in club "STORE", 20.05.04, by GOTHIC.COM.UA & USC] Ukrainian Gothic Portal (GOTHIC.COM.UA) in cooperation with Ukrainian Synthpop Community present ukrainian gothic event of the year: biggest gothic/dark romantic/industrial party in Kiev. Party under the name "UKRAINIAN GOTHIC" will take place on 20 of May, 2004 in club "STORE 205" (metro "Dvoretz Ukraina", Kovpaka str.8, in supermarkt "Ukraina"). Biggest in Ukraine GOTHIC/NEW ROMANIC party will take place from 18:00 till down. Party will be devoted to late presentation of CD "Ukrainian gothic, vol.1" and also to trip of ukrainian gothic-bands to german gothic festival WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN-2004. At present GOTHIC.COM.UA organizes gothic parties in 3 biggest ukrainian cities: Kiev, Lviv and Odessa. 23.04.2004 [Event in Kiev: "ANTIUTOPIA MANIFEST" industrial party, 30.04.04, by Reprocenter] On 30th of April there will be an interesting industrial & related-industrial party in Kiev under the name "ANTIUTOPIA MANIFEST". The party is organized by Reprocenter (Gargarroth & Snake) and supported by Ukrainian Gothic Portal (GOTHIC.COM.UA). Place: club "Prime" (Kudryavsky spusk, 5b). Party is devoted to cyber punk and antiutopia concept. Translation of "Antidote" of Jose Luis Peixoto - MOONSPELL inspiration] Update in TRANSLATION section on GOTHIC.COM.UA: we started to publish the first and only slavic translation of mysterious book Antidote of less-known writer Jose Luis Peixoto, that became the inspiration for one of the albums of gothic metal band MOONSPELL.

At the moment gothic.com.ua negotiates with most famous and oldest in the world german gothic festival Wave-Gotik-Treffen on aprovement of concerts 3 (!) ukrainian bands on. This year Ukraine can be presented on WGT-2004 by such a bands: KOMU VNYZ, DUST HEAVEN & GRAY/SCALE. If the negotiations come to 100% agreement (3 ukrainian bands are agreed and aproved) this fact will become the biggest yet present achievement not only for GOTHIC.COM.UA, but can be stated as particular record breakthrough for ukrainian gothic and for the whole ex-USSR gothic scene at all for the whole time of its existance. On Saturday, 24 January there will be a small gothic party called "Discoteque Necronomicon" devoted to Carl McCoy, leader of cult gothic band Fields of The Nephilim, in Kiev in night club "Zagreb" (Address: Goloseevsky prospect 42, you can get there using trolleybus ¹ 2,4,11,12 (from U-station "Libidska") and go up to trolleybus station "Hotel Goloseevski") . 30.12.2003 [Reportage & photos: Dark & Neo-Folk Gathering IV, Moscow, 07.12.2003, club "Avalon"] In the EVENTS section of the portal published the reportage and a large photogallery from Dark & Neo-Folk Gathering IV, which was held on the 7th of December, in club "Avalon". On the stage appeared two bands: CAPRICE and EMBRACE OF BRANCHES.

24.12.2003 [Reportage & photos: 2nd Russian Gothic Festival "RADIO INFERNO II", S.-Peterburg, 05.12.2003] One more interesting reportage from Russia, S.-Petereburg, where on the 5th of Dec. was held the 2nd russian Gothic Festival RADIO INFERNO II, organized by "Para Bellvm Community" and FULLDOZER. This year the festival was international, participants: CHARON (Finland, gothic-love-metal), SHABASH (Estonia, gothic metal), PARA BELLVM (gothic rock), THEODOR BASTARD (gothic ethno-electronics), STILLIFE (darkwave), ОН МОЙ (electro pop), VIDNA NEBO (darkwave) и X-BAT.
