HIM interview in Hannover [by Vitaliy 'Stranger' Fedun]

[Details : Interview took place on Stadionsporthalle. Ville, Mig and Gas of HIM were answering questions. Interview was almost for 1 hour and some more time. Questions were gathered by fans of HIM in from Ukraine, Russia and other slavic countries. ]

STRANGER: Gute Nacht! Nice to meet you.
HIM [all] : Hi. We are also glad to..

STRANGER: For the first question will be - do you know Ukraine?
HIM [all] : Yes we know the country Ukraine....

STRANGER: You know there are lot of fans of HIM in Ukraine, Russia and in the former Soviet Union countries. We have organized a contest. And we have received hundreds of questions from your fans and if it is possible you will choose the most interesting one for you afterwards.
VILLE: Ok...
STRANGER: By the way do you remember the most interesting question you have been asked? Or the best interview..

MIG:  Actually we like the most when there is not the interview itself, but kind of conversation. It's much more interesting...

STRANGER: Oh you look pretty tired. You are having tours all the time. Is this one difficult?
VILLE [sad smile]: No, it is not difficult tour and we are not tired. We are just trying to concentrate before the concert...

STRANGER: Will you perform in Ukraine?
VILLE: It depends on our manager. Maybe. We are going to Spain, Denmark, Netherlands, other Europinian countries and also to Estonia, Latvia, and Litva. You should speak to our manager about that..

STRANGER :   I will. We would like to arrange your concert later on, but not in nearest time...

STRANGER: Ok, you have just answered some of the further questions from fan , like where will you perform next. Also one question, will you perform in Estonia for sure and if yes will you give authograph hour ?
VILLE : I think yes..

STRANGER [question from fan]: What are your favorite seasons?
VILLE: I like the autumn most.
MIG: Me too.
GAS: I like summer.

STRANGER: Ok. We received a lot of silly and strange questions. Some of them were like: Ville do you were underwear and other stuff like that..
VILLE [Laugh] : I think that i can answer that question -...
STRANGER: No! Thanks..But it was not question - i was just citating strange questions...

STRANGER: If you could have th4e body of other artist. Who would you be?
VILLE: For the whole life or for a day?
STRANGER: In general…
VILLE: I think, would like to be Elvis Presley for a while.
MIG: Michael Jackson
GAS: Elton John possibly...

STRANGER [question from fans]: How is it - to work with Borton?
VILLE [turning back to Burton, who is making something on the computer] : How is it to work with you, Burton ? =)
BURTON: I think to work with me sucks... =)
STRANGER: Aha...=)
VILLE: Mmm..Actually we really like Burton, and we knew him really good before...

STRANGER: What is your favorite band?
VILLE: Black Sabbath would be fine.

STRANGER: Our usual question - what is gothic for you?
VILLE: Gothic is hearts. Gothic hurts. The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Fields of the Nephilim, Bauhaus...

STRANGER: Sorry, what did you say first? gothic is what ?
VILLE: Gothic is hearts. Gothic hurts...

STRANGER: If you have a free time what do u do? As i've read in one of the interview - you would sleep..
VILLE: No, we would read...

STRANGER: You have not much time, but what was the last movie you have watched?
VILLE: I can't remmember really...

STRANGER: What is your favorite movie now?
VILLE: I think "Blade"

STRANGER: And stuff like Fight Club?
HIM [all]: Well, no. We tried to understand it, but we failed.

STRANGER: Ville, I have a poster with Brandon Lee from the movie The Crow. One girl came over to my room and when she saw that picture, she said that Ville looked like Brandon Lee. What would you say about that?
HIM [laugh]: Mmm..I think that people look just like thay look..Although possibly i look like The Crow..Some people said about that..

STRANGER [question from fan]: What do you like the most in painting - symbolism, expressionism or impressionism?
VILLE [laugh]: Was was the most difficult word ?
STRANGER [laugh]: symbolism ?
VILLE: I think then - symbolism [laughs]. Well it is difficult to say and to distinguish these currents. We like cubism.

STRANGER [question from fan]: Him for you is still a family or more like a work?
VILLE: Yes it is still a family for all of us...

STRANGER: I know that you have a good since of humor. What is humor for you?
VILLE [laugh]: We like when people do some not ordinary things. Bu humour is an ordinary thing for us..

STRANGER: By the way do you like Beavis and Butthead ?
MIG: Yes, we are preoccupied with them. In the life I am more like Butthead and Ville like Beavis...;-)

STRANGER [question from fans]: Have you ever had the idea to make a video on the script of your fans? In Russia, there is website of HIM where I have seen a script about such kind of video.
MIG: Wow, we didn't know... But it depends on the script. We should read it first.
VILLE: That could be..

STRANGER [question from fans]: Is that true that you are going to make a project with Russian singer Linda?
VILLE [ironic laugh]: Yes. The whole project was just to say "Hello" to each other when we met her...

STRANGER [question from fans, laugh]: I was asked to ask you the question - do you know the girl called Estrie?
VILLE:  No.

STRANGER: Well… You surely don't know ?
VILLE: Sorry…

STRANGER [question from fans]: What was the favorite fairytale when you were child?
